It's raining, it's pouring, the old me is dead.

I love the sound of rain. The "slap", of water pelting the concrete. The dull sound of drops making contact with the windows. One drop at a time. It's almost as if I can hear every one independently land its way onto this transparent plane of matter. Upon examination, I notice the size of the rain drops. Tiny. One drop of rain hits the glass, a sound snaps our attention to the window, and the rain drop drags down the frame, slowly. Water falling from the sky and greeting me at the window.

Water is very interesting. We drink it, we use it to clean pretty much everything. Roughly seventy one percent of Earth is water. The human body consists of, on average, 60 percent water. Without drinking water, we could survive for a short amount of time, but the body would quickly fall apart and fail. I've heard stories. Been told many things. After analyzation, investigation, and rational thought, I come to conclusions about the topics people discuss and the ones I discuss with people. I love a good conversation.

One thing that stands out to me is our relationship with water. A very pure yet powerful substance. If properly filtered, we could survive off of water and simple foods for the rest of our life, but Gatorade tastes so good, and soda tastes so good hahaha.

That's a playoff of a Pulp Fiction scene, when two gangsters are sitting in a cafe talking about eating swine, otherwise known as pig.

Imagine the natural flow of water in the mountains that forms the rivers we see today. Water falls in the high altitude, freezes into snow or ice, temperatures change, avalanches happen, it runs down the mountain collecting vitamins and minerals from the stones it corrodes across, and falls into a naturally created river, feeding into the ocean in some instances. It's an absolutely beautiful origin story.

We all know what's good for us, but only some of us have the discipline to actually do it. I learned the word Hedonist yesterday. It stood out while watching shorts on Instagram.

Joe Rogan mentioned them while talking about discipline and religion.

A hedonist is someone who commonly participates in self-indulgent behavior. An active sinner. I am guilty of sometimes being a Hedon. We all are. None of us are perfect. Many of us struggle with self-control and discipline. Discipline in doing the right things in life. The topics we avoid but know are there. Falling back on our Hedonistic nature is comfortable and fun. It's safe. We are just looking out for ourselves, right? Just trying to have a good time. Wrong. It is false appreciation.

Alcohol kills, drugs kill, selfishness kills, fast food kills, pharmaceutical companies kill, all of these things in life, that are for the most part fun and comforting, gives us this sense of release. What's really happening is your brain being flooded with stuff life serotonin, dopamine, oxytocin, and endorphins. We get addicted to ourselves, not the substances. It is time for us to make a change. To flow like water. Purify your mind, heart, and soul by taking care of yourself. Do not give into temptation and toxic relief. We only have one life. Don't destroy it. Don't encourage others to destroy theirs. If you think you need help, seek it. There are plenty of resources other than "Diamond Forge", but while you're here. Hit us up.

Waves are way more powerful than rain drops. It is time for us to come together and show the World what we are capable of. Salvation and Freedom. Simply by taking care of your body, you are getting one step closer to freedom, one step closer to salvation.

God would be proud. He is proud. He's all forgiving after all.
